An important feature of a suitable ladies winter jacket is that it is fashionable and has a good fit. But besides fashionable and a good fit it should also be functional. Characteristics of our ladies winter coats are that they are water- and windproof, but also breathable and not too warm but certainly not too cold.
TYPES OF SKI JACKETS
There are different types of winter coats. On the one hand you have a hardshell jacket and on the other hand you have a softshell jacket. A hardshell jacket means that it is wind and waterproof and breathable. A hardshell jacket has no warm lining, making it a jacket suitable for slightly warmer days. The hardshell jacket is a real lightweight. As mentioned above, the softshell jacket is the opposite. A softshell jacket is slightly thicker compared to a hardshell jacket, but both jackets are unlined. A softshell jacket is windproof, but usually not completely waterproof. It will hold back some precipitation, but if the rain showers continue to be heavy, not all of the water will be held back. The jacket does have the characteristic of being very breathable.
