Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.

- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.

5. Refund

The Peak Performance Women Pile Vest is a sleeveless pile fleece midlayer in 100% recycled polyester, made for everyday warmth and layering rather than weather protection. The light pile has a jersey back, so the inside runs smoothly over a base layer or a shirt, and the vest weighs around 400 g. The finishing is what sets it apart: narrow flatlock covering seams and elastic binding at the armholes, along the collar, the centre front zipper and the bottom hem.
Who is the Peak Performance Women Pile Vest for?
This is a vest for a woman who wants soft core warmth for everyday wear, for the drive up, and for evenings in the mountains after skiing. It is not a technical layer: there is no membrane, no stated water column and no water-repellent finish, so wet weather and exposed, windy ridges are outside its range. It is also sleeveless and has no hood, so arms, shoulders and head rely entirely on what you wear with it.

Pile holds air well and breathes freely because nothing blocks it, which makes the vest comfortable while you are moving but light on its own once you stand still in the cold. The 2-way YKK Vislon zipper lets you vent from the hem when you warm up.

The pile side carries the loft and the air, the jersey side gives the inner surface a flat, even feel against a base layer. There is no membrane and no separate lining. The seams are narrow flatlock covering seams, which keeps the join low in profile under another layer, and elastic binding finishes the armholes, the stand-up collar, the centre front zipper and the bottom hem instead of a bulky elastic cord. The stand-up collar is doubled for a softer edge at the neck. Closure is a full-front 2-way YKK Vislon zipper, and both hand pockets zip shut.
Is the Peak Performance Women Pile Vest suitable for skiing?
As a midlayer under a shell jacket on the piste, this vest adds warmth over the torso and leaves your arms free to move. That is where it works. It is not an outer layer on the mountain: without a membrane or a stated wind-resistant panel it offers no protection against rain, wet snow or wind, and with no insulation specification it is not the layer to rely on for standing around in deep cold. For ski touring, high-alpine routes and expedition use, look to a dedicated technical insulating layer. What is the Peak Performance Women Pile Vest made of and how do I wash it?
The shell of the Peak Performance Women Pile Vest is 100% recycled polyester. Polyester pile dries quickly and keeps its loft through repeated washing, but it does pick up hair and lint, and the pile surface will catch on rough hook-and-loop fastenings. Machine wash at 40 degrees Celsius on a delicate cycle with similar colours, and close both the front zipper and the pocket zippers first so the sliders do not drag across the pile. Do not bleach and do not dry clean or professional wet clean. You can tumble dry on low or line dry in the shade, and iron cool if needed.
How sustainable is this vest?
The fabric is made of recycled material, with the shell stated as 100% recycled polyester — the only composition in the garment, so the recycled content covers the whole body of the vest rather than one panel. Peak Performance lists the style under partly recycled fibers.
