For demanding ascents and speedy descents: The PORDOI JACKET for women can handle ski tours in any kind of weather. Thanks to the C_CHANGE(TM) SCHOELLER® MEMBRANE, the premium softshell jacket also reacts to sweat build-up with special moisture and temperature management: When it's cold, the membrane closes - as soon as the body becomes too hot, the pores open to regulate the temperature. The new mesh lining on the breast pockets provides additional ventilation, while the fine merino wool inner lining continues to ensure great comfort. The loden inserts with underlying membrane have been repositioned and now protect even the chin area against wind and weather. So with our PORDOI JACKET women you'll be ready for anything and can enjoy your winter adventure to the full, whatever the weather.

MATERIAL 

SWISSWOOL The virgin wool we use for the loden is produced locally in Switzerland. SWISSWOOL has set up collection stations specifically for this purpose in many Swiss Alpine valleys, some of which are very remote, guaranteeing a fair price for raw wool. This has led to a revival in sheep farming and wool production, which are often quite unprofitable. After the raw wool has been weighed, it is washed and then processed. ORTOVOX then provides the unique design and functionality during the manufacture of the end product.

MERINO WOOL  Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral component of ORTOVOX's mountainwear. Our merino wool comes from happy sheep reared on monitored, ethical sheep farms. The wool is naturally ecological and therefore super sustainable. Thanks to the small-diameter fibers in its fine woolen threads, merino wool feels extremely soft and comfortable on the skin.  In addition to comfort, merino wool also provides an ideal personal body climate by regulating both moisture and temperature. It is also easy to care for and, thanks to its antibacterial effect, odor neutralizing.

The focus of this has always been the protection of people, animals and nature: Our merino wool comes from selected farms that comply with our own wool standard: the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE.
