Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:
Skistore Swing
De Opslach 3

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- Knitted rib wool with a wide double-layer cuff
- Logo-light: one small silicone patch on the front
- Three colourways: Almond Milk, Sky Captain, Brindle
- No membrane: wets through in rain or wet snow
- One size only, no head circumference published
- Rib knit and wide cuff add bulk under a helmet
The Mountain Studio Are Beanie is a knitted, ribbed wool beanie in one size, made for skiing, après-ski and winter days in town. Its detailing is deliberately minimal: a wide cuff and a single silicone logo patch on the front, with no membrane, no lining stated and no printed branding. It is warm headwear rather than a technical weather layer.
Who is the Are Beanie for?
The Are Beanie suits a skier who wants a plain, logo-light wool rib beanie for lift queues, the walk to the bar and winter days off the hill. It is not the right choice if you need waterproof or windproof headwear, or a thin liner cap to sit under a close-fitting ski helmet — a rib knit with a wide cuff adds bulk, and helmet compatibility is not stated by the brand.
How much weather protection does The Mountain Studio Are Beanie offer?
None is claimed, and that is worth knowing before you order. The Are Beanie has no membrane, no wind-blocking lining and no water-repellent finish, so knitted wool will wet through in rain or wet snow. What it does have is a dense rib-knit wool construction and a wide cuff that doubles the fabric over the ears and forehead. No insulation weight, garment weight or fibre percentage is published, so no temperature rating can be given here.
Which size should you choose?
There is only one choice: the Are Beanie is supplied in a single unisex size (OSFA). The brand publishes no head circumference range and no stretch data, so fit cannot be verified in advance. The rib knit gives the fabric natural give, and the wide cuff can sit low over the ears or be worn shallower on the head.
How is The Mountain Studio Are Beanie constructed?
The Are Beanie is built from a single knitted, ribbed wool fabric with no separate shell, membrane or stated lining. The rib structure is what does the work: vertical ribs let the knit compress and expand around the head, and a wide cuff folds the fabric back on itself so the ears and forehead sit under two layers instead of one. The only applied detail is a small silicone logo patch on the front. The brand states no fibre percentages, no knit weight and no insulation value for this beanie, so the construction is best judged by what it is — a plain wool rib cap — rather than by numbers.
Is the Are Beanie suitable for skiing and ski touring?
It works where a helmet is off. The Mountain Studio Are Beanie is intended as cold-weather headwear for skiing and general mountain use: standing in a lift queue, walking between lifts, après-ski and everyday winter wear in town. It stops where technical protection starts. With no windproof layer, wind will pass through an open wool rib, and in rain or wet snow the knit absorbs water. For ski touring it is a useful cap for the skin track or a break, not a weatherproof system. Under a close-fitting helmet the rib knit and wide cuff add bulk, and the brand does not state that the beanie is helmet-compatible.
What is the Are Beanie made of, and how should you care for it?
The body of the Are Beanie is wool; the source specification gives no fibre percentages, so it cannot be described as merino or as a specific blend. The front logo patch is silicone. The Mountain Studio supplies no washing or care instructions for this beanie, which matters for a wool item — follow the sewn-in care label on your beanie rather than a generic wool programme, and let the knit dry flat and away from direct heat only if the label allows it. If you need certainty on washing before you order, check with us first.
Which colours is the Are Beanie available in?
The Are Beanie is offered in three colourways: Almond Milk, Sky Captain and Brindle. Sky Captain is a blue and Brindle a beige; the brand publishes no further tone or contrast detail, and no colour statement at all for Almond Milk. All three colourways share the same construction and specification — there is no difference in fabric, cuff or fit between them.
