Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.

- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.

5. Refund

The Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Hood Women is a hooded fleece midlayer in a 4-way stretch recycled fabric with a brushed back, built to sit over a base layer and under a ski shell. A full-length reversed YKK coil zipper, zipped hand pockets and a high-fitting single-layer hood make it a midlayer you can also wear on its own on dry days. Weight is 555 g.
Who is the Rider Tech Zip Hood Women for?
This is for a skier who wants one stretchy, soft fleece that works under a shell on the piste and off-piste, keeps working on a touring ascent, and still looks right on a walk or while travelling. It is not an outer layer for rain or wet snow, and it has no powder skirt, ventilation or RECCO reflector, so it does not replace a ski jacket.
How warm is this fleece midlayer?
Warmth comes from the fleece itself: a soft, lightweight recycled fleece with a brushed inner face, 86% recycled polyester and 14% elastane. There is no insulation fill and no membrane, so the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Hood Women handles active, moving cold well and lets wind through when you stand still. For static cold, wear an insulated or windproof jacket over it.
Which size should you choose?
The cut is regular: close enough to layer under a shell, roomy enough over a base layer without pulling. Available in S, M, L and XL. Check the Peak Performance women's size chart against your chest and hip measurements before ordering. The hood is single-layer and sits high on the neck, so it fits under a helmet-compatible shell hood without bulk.
How is the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Hood Women built?
The construction is deliberately simple. One fabric, a soft and lightweight recycled fleece with a brushed back, does all the work: the brushed inner face traps air against the body, while 14% elastane gives the fabric 4-way stretch so the jacket moves with your shoulders and arms instead of binding. A reversed YKK coil zipper runs the full length of the front, and Peak Performance elastic at the back bottom hem keeps the hem settled when you bend forward. There is no membrane and no lining, which is what keeps the jacket soft and quick to dry.
Is the Rider Tech Zip Hood Women suitable for skiing and touring?
Yes, as a midlayer. On resort and freeride days the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Hood Women goes over a base layer and under a shell or an insulated jacket; the high-fitting single-layer hood adds a layer at the neck without crowding a shell hood. On a ski tour or any high-output winter day the stretch fabric and full zip let you dump heat quickly. Where it stops: there is no stated waterproofness, no water-repellent finish and no windproof property, so in rain, wet snow or exposed wind you need a shell over it. The zipped hand pockets sit at hip level and can be covered by a climbing harness or a pack hip belt.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell fabric is 86% recycled polyester with 14% elastane; the pockets are 100% polyester. Polyester fleece dries fast and holds its shape, and the elastane content is what makes repeated stretching recover rather than bag out at the elbows. Machine wash at 40 °C, inside out, with similar colours and all zippers closed. Skip bleach, ironing, dry cleaning and professional wet cleaning. Fabric softener is not needed on fleece and dulls the brushed face over time.
What makes this a more responsible choice?
The main fabric of the Peak Performance Rider Tech Zip Hood Women is built from partly recycled fibres: 86% of the shell is recycled polyester. That is a material fact rather than a programme, and it applies to all four colourways, which share the same construction: Blue Shadow, Black, Pine Needle and Beetroot Purple.
