Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.

- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.

5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.

The Peak Performance Men Pile Vest is a sleeveless pile fleece vest in 100% recycled polyester, built as a midlayer for casual days, travel and après-ski rather than as mountain equipment. A jersey back on the pile fabric keeps the inside smooth over a shirt or base layer, and the 2-way YKK Vislon® zipper opens from the hem as well as from the top. Stated weight is 450 grams.
Who is the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest for?
This pile vest fits you if you want soft torso warmth in town, on the way to the hill and after skiing, or an extra layer under a jacket or shell. It is not a weather layer: there is no membrane, no water column and no seam sealing here, so the pile soaks through in rain and lets wind pass in exposed places. Because the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest is sleeveless, arm warmth has to come from another garment.
How warm is the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest?
Warmth in the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest comes from a light pile fabric with a jersey back, not from an insulation fill. Elastic binding along the collar, the centre front zipper, the hem and the armholes closes off the openings, and narrow flatlock covering seams keep the inside flat against a base layer. The unlaminated pile is highly air-permeable, so it breathes freely when you move and does little against a cold wind on its own.
Which size should you choose?
Regular fit, cut as a midlayer to sit over a base layer or shirt and under a jacket or shell. Sizes are S, M, L and XL; compare your chest measurement with the size chart on this page before ordering. If you already wear a thick midlayer under a slim-cut shell, the pile bulk across the torso is where this vest reaches its limit.
How is the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest built?
The body of the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest is a light pile with a jersey back, so the loops face outward and the smooth jersey side faces your base layer. Narrow flatlock covering seams keep the joins low in profile, which matters in a garment worn under a shell. A stand-up collar closes the neck, and the full front opening runs on a 2-way YKK Vislon® zipper, so you can vent from the bottom while sitting in a lift, a car or a train. Storage is generous for a vest: two zippered hand pockets, a zippered chest pocket and a woven outside pocket.
Can you wear the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest under a ski jacket?
Yes — it is specified as a midlayer, which is exactly how it works best: base layer, Peak Performance Men Pile Vest, then your jacket or shell. The sleeveless cut keeps bulk out of the arms, so sleeve articulation in the shell stays intact, while the torso gains a layer of pile. On its own it stops at mild, dry conditions: no wind-blocking panel, no water-repellent finish and no hood are part of this vest, so it is not the layer for standing out in sleet or on an exposed ridge. There are no helmet-compatible or harness-compatible features either, which puts technical alpine, high-alpine and climbing use outside its range. For town, travel, the drive to the resort and the hours after skiing, it does the job it was designed for.
What is the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest made of and how do you wash it?
The shell pile is 100% recycled polyester and the pockets are 100% recycled polyamide. Polyester pile dries quickly and holds its loft through repeated washing, which is why the care routine is simple: machine wash at 40°C on a delicate cycle with similar colours, close the zippers first, and tumble dry low or line dry in the shade. Do not bleach, do not iron, and keep it out of dry cleaning and professional wet cleaning. The two colourways are Black and Olive Extreme.
How sustainable is the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest?
Both stated material parts of the Peak Performance Men Pile Vest use recycled fibres: 100% recycled polyester for the pile shell and 100% recycled polyamide for the pockets. Washing cool and tumble drying low keeps the pile and the elastic bindings in shape, which is the most direct way to extend the life of a fleece layer like this one.
