Body measurements in centimetres, from the official KJUS size chart. Measure yourself and pick the row your measurements fall in; between two sizes, go by the chest for tops and by the waist for trousers. KJUS writes a top size as the international size plus the EU size (M I 48-50) and a trouser size as the US waist size, with S, R or L for the leg length: S is short, R is regular, L is long.

What Is an Insulated Ski Jacket and What Are the Options?
An insulated ski jacket is essential for anyone seeking warmth and comfort while skiing or snowboarding. The insulation helps maintain your body temperature, even in the harshest conditions. There are different types of insulation, each with its own advantages. In this guide, we explain the differences so you can make the perfect choice.

Down Insulation: Lightweight and Extremely Warm
A jacket insulated with down is the ideal choice for those looking for maximum warmth without sacrificing comfort. Down provides excellent insulation and is very lightweight, making it perfect for cold, dry conditions. However, keep in mind that down performs less well in wet conditions unless the jacket has been specially treated to resist moisture.

Wool Insulation: Natural and Breathable
Jackets with wool insulation offer a natural alternative. Wool is not only warm but also breathable and retains heat even when damp. This option is ideal for those who prefer natural materials and comfort in varying weather conditions.

Synthetic Insulation: Versatile and Low-Maintenance
Synthetic insulation, such as PrimaLoft or Thinsulate, offers excellent warmth and performs well in wet conditions. This option is often slightly heavier than down but dries quickly and is easier to care for. It’s ideal for active winter sports enthusiasts who value versatility and affordability.

Why Choose an Insulated Ski Jacket?

  • Optimal Warmth: Protect yourself against extreme cold.

  • Comfort During Activity: Maintain your freedom of movement without sacrificing insulation.

  • Suitable for Various Weather Conditions: Whether you're skiing in powder snow or braving a cold wind, an insulated jacket adapts to your needs.

Which Insulation Suits You Best?
The right insulation depends on your personal preferences and the conditions in which you’ll wear the jacket. Looking for ultimate warmth and comfort? Go for down. Need a versatile, low-maintenance option? Consider synthetic materials. Or choose wool for a natural feel.

Our premium ski jackets combine functionality, style, and top quality, so you can fully enjoy your winter sports adventure. Explore our collection and find your perfect insulated ski jacket!

  • Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
  • After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.

  • Returns are at your own risk and expense.
  • If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

1. Check your items

√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired

√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?

√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?

2. Submit your return online

Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).

You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.

3. Pack your return

√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.

Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged

√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel

√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel

√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:

The KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket is a men's insulated ski jacket built around a Dermizax® NX membrane with a 20,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability, made for resort skiing in mild to cool conditions. What separates it from most insulated shells is airflow: the patented KJUS AC-Vent™ forearm venting system and an Advanced Ventilation System let you release heat while you keep skiing. Insulation stays deliberately moderate, at 40 g 3DeFX+™ combined with 50 g Polartec® Alpha®.

Who is the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket for?

This is a jacket for the frequent resort skier who runs warm, skis long days at changing output and wants stretch and breathability rather than bulk. If you ski at a steady pace in mild to cool weather, the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket regulates well. If you spend much of the day standing still in deep cold, or you want to add and remove insulation as the weather turns, look at a warmer jacket or a shell with a separate midlayer — the insulation here is built in and only the vents are adjustable.

How warm and how weatherproof is the HexAir Edge Jacket?

The Dermizax® NX laminate is rated at 20,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m²/24h moisture vapour transfer, and the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket is fully seam taped, so wet chairlift seats and falling snow stay outside. Warmth comes from 40 g Toray 3DeFX+™ stretch insulation plus 50 g Polartec® Alpha®, a combination the brand rates for mild to cool climates rather than for deep winter.

Which size should you choose in the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket?

The KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket is a regular fit: standard through chest, waist and hem, with a longer body that sits below the hip and a classic sleeve that ends at the wrist. There is room for a fleece or light midlayer without excess fabric. KJUS labels tops as an international size plus an EU size (M I 48-50, L I 52, XL I 54-56), so compare your chest measurement with the size chart on this page and match the EU number on the label.

How is the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket constructed?

The KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket uses a Dermizax® NX membrane behind a face fabric of 90% polyester and 10% polyurethane with four-way stretch, and the whole construction is fully seam taped. Abrasion-resistant HexAir fabric is placed in the key contact areas, where a ski jacket wears through first, while moisture-wicking Hydraulic fabric moves sweat away from the skin side. Graphene-treated materials spread body heat sideways through the fabric instead of letting it sit in hot spots, VaporTemp treatment speeds up evaporation, and a phase-change material stores and releases body heat as your temperature swings. Body Mapping places the fabrics and the insulation by anatomical zone.

How does the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket perform on the mountain?

On the piste, this is a jacket you can ski hard in. The four-way stretch shell follows the shoulders and arms, the helmet-compatible fixed hood sits over a ski helmet, and the removable, adjustable snow skirt seals the waist when you go down in soft snow off the side of the run. The KJUS AC-Vent™ forearm vents and the Advanced Ventilation System open airflow without unzipping the front, which is what makes the HexAir Edge Jacket workable on warmer spring days and on short skinning sections where 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability counts. It stops where the insulation stops: 40 g 3DeFX+™ and 50 g Polartec® Alpha® are rated for mild to cool climates, so a long static day in deep cold asks for more loft than this jacket carries.

What is the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket made of and how do you care for it?

The shell is 90% polyester with 10% polyurethane, the lining is 89% polyester with 11% elastane, and the insulation is 100% polyester in the form of 40 g Toray 3DeFX+™ plus 50 g Polartec® Alpha®. The elastane content in the lining is what keeps the inside moving with the outer stretch rather than restricting it. Polyester and polyurethane handle regular washing well: machine wash the KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket at 30 °C, skip the bleach, and tumble dry on a low setting, which helps the face fabric recover its shape. Do not iron it and do not have it dry cleaned, because solvents and direct heat damage both the laminate and the taped seams. Wash the jacket when it starts to feel clammy rather than once a season — a dirty face fabric breathes measurably worse than a clean one, and breathability is the main reason to own this jacket.

What does the Graphene-lined phone pocket do?

Cold drains a phone battery fast. The KJUS HexAir Edge Jacket carries a dedicated phone pocket lined with Graphene, which spreads your own body heat across the pocket rather than letting the device chill against the outer fabric. A VaporTemp neck gaiter closes off the collar area at the same time.
