Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- Stepless adjustment, no punched holes
- 38 mm nylon webbing, 119 g complete
- bluesign criteria materials, PFAS compliant
- No keeper loop: surplus webbing hangs loose
- Rigid webbing with no stretch at all
- Surface clean only, never machine washable
The Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 is a unisex 38 mm nylon webbing belt with a self-locking metal buckle, made for everyday wear and for hiking. It adjusts steplessly through the buckle rather than through punched holes, so you set the exact length you need instead of jumping between fixed holes. The webbing is deliberately rigid and has no stretch.
Who is the Conveyor Belt 38 for?
This belt suits anyone who wants one plain, stiff webbing belt with a metal buckle for daily use and for walking days, and who is happy with a rigid strap and a loose webbing tail. The Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 is not an elastic or stretch belt, and it is not a harness or climbing equipment: it is designed for everyday wear and is not built or tested as load-bearing or safety gear.
How does the buckle and adjustment work?
The Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 uses a self-locking metal buckle carrying the Arc'teryx bird logo, which clamps the 38 mm (1.5 in) webbing at any point along its length. The strap is 98% nylon and 2% polyester with contrasting stitching, and the whole belt weighs 119 g (4.2 oz). Several wearers report that threading the webbing through the buckle takes effort, and that the strap feels stiff until it has been worn in.
Which size should you choose?
Sizing on the Conveyor Belt 38 works by total belt length, not by waist size. This article is offered in size L, which measures 1300 mm (51.2 in) in total. Measure your waist over the trousers you will wear it with and compare that figure to the 1300 mm total length. There is no keeper loop, so if your waist sits well below that length, the surplus webbing will hang loose.
How is the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 constructed?
The Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 is built from a single run of 38 mm (3.75 cm) nylon webbing, 98% nylon and 2% polyester, finished with contrasting stitching along its length. There is no padding, no lining and no elastic panel: the strap is one flat, rigid band that passes through a self-locking metal buckle stamped with the Arc'teryx bird. The buckle grips the webbing by friction at whatever point you pull it to, which is why the belt adjusts in infinitely small steps instead of in fixed increments. At 119 g (4.2 oz) complete, it adds very little to a pair of trousers or a packed bag.
Is the Conveyor Belt 38 suitable for hiking and for climbing?
Hiking is the activity Arc'teryx lists for this style, and the Conveyor Belt 38 handles it the way a webbing belt should: it holds trousers in place under a pack hipbelt, and the flat buckle sits low enough not to dig in. The rigidity that makes it hold also sets its limit. There is no give when you sit down, bend or climb, and the belt is not designed or tested as load-bearing or safety equipment, so it has no place in a climbing or rope system. The webbing also runs slowly through the buckle, which makes one-handed opening and re-threading awkward if you are in a hurry.
What colour is it and how do you care for the belt?
This version of the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt 38 comes in Black: a near-black webbing lifted by the contrasting stitch line. Care is simple but strict. Surface clean the webbing only, and keep it out of the washing machine, the tumble dryer, the dry cleaner and away from bleach and the iron. Wipe mud and salt off the strap while it is still damp and let the belt air dry flat; a nylon webbing that is cleaned by hand keeps its colour and its grip in the buckle longer than one that is soaked.
How sustainable is the Conveyor Belt 38?
The Conveyor Belt 38 contains materials produced through processes that meet bluesign criteria, and the belt is PFAS compliant. It is sewn at a Fair Trade Certified facility, SUNGJIN INC VINA CO LTD in Vietnam; the webbing is made and dyed in China. As a synthetic textile, it may release plastic microfibres into the environment when washed, which is one more reason to stay with the surface-clean instruction rather than putting it through a machine.
